Care of Jewelry

Tips for General Care of Diamonds and Jewelry

Don't wear jewelry when you're doing rough work.  Even though a diamond is durable, it can be chipped by a hard blow.

Don't let your jewelry come in contact with chemicals such as bleach, chlorine, or anti-bacterial hand soaps.  It can pit and discolor the mounting.

Do separate your jewelry while in storage or transport to avoid one article from damaging another.

Do remove all jewelry before showering.  Soap can cause a film that is difficult to remove and some soap residue can be corrosive.

Do see your jeweler at least once a year and have your mountings checked for  loose stones or other damage.  FULLER JEWELRY will give them a professional "Shine-Up" too.
